京都の思い出 - a memory of Kyoto

今日、3月に日本添乗した時に一緒に行った「扇子の絵付け体験」の出来上がった扇子を日本から受け取った。下の写真は一ヶ月前扇子に仕立てあがる前のもの。皆それぞれ個性的な絵。
I got the hand made Sensu - Sensu means Japanese fan, which I draw in Kyoto with my escorted guest from US in March. These pieces of paper in bellow photo are "Sensu" before assembled. These looks really nice with originality.
茶の湯の作法から来る、「 一期一会」の意味。大事な言葉ですね~。

"Ichigo Ichie" stand for Japanese tea ceremony spirit. It means that he or she does everything as if it were a once in a lifetime chance. (referenced Japanese-English dictionary "progressive")
I like this word.
