ボストン旅行記 アムトラック編 Travel to Boston -by Amtrak

アムトラックの乗り場。どのホームに電車が来るか待っている人たち。10分位前までどこに来るかわからない。
These people were waiting to boarding Amtrak,because it display didn't show which plat home they should go, until 10 minute before departure.
ボストン市内に到着すると２つ駅があり、バックベイで降りると地下鉄の乗り換えも便利。
It is easier to transfer subway station at back bay station than south station, it is tricky there is 2 station in Boston CBD.

ボストンにはたくさんアイリッシュパブがありました。

There are lots of Irish pub in Boston.

ボストンといえばシーフード！味はわかりませんが、ユニオン・オイスター・ハウスというレストランは1826年から営業しているそうです。

I assume this restaurant famous in Boston, "Union Oyster house" has opened in 1826. I am not sure this restaurant taste...

9時NY発のAMTRAK（アムトラック）。高速鉄道。ワシントン、ボストン、フィラデルフィアなどや全米をモーラしている。ニューヨーク～ボストン間も”アセラ”という日本の”のぞみ”新幹線のような車両も新しく、3時間半で着く高級版と、”こだま”新幹線のようなリーズナブルな高速鉄道に分かれる。
もちろん今回は”こだま”タイプの高速鉄道。時間にもよるけれど往復で124ドル。

I went to Boston by Amtrak, left at 9:00 a.m.

Amtrak covered major station in USA. I have 2 choice between Acela express and normal Amtrak.

Acela express is expensive but faster than normal one, like "Nozomi super express" in Japan.

I took normal one and it takes 4hours from NY, its cost was $124 round trip.
